We are seeking to recruit a caring, inspirational and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the learning and pastoral care of pupils. You will need to be able to form a positive and consistent relationship with pupils, focussing on creating a calm, secure and consistent working environment. This post will initially involve supporting individual children with Special Educational Needs. A skilful and experienced person is preferred but dedication to the role is more essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience of working with pupils across all age groups, including EYFS
- has the ability to think flexibly and use their own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils
- is able to follow direction
- has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- is flexible and committed to working as part of a team
- has excellent communication, mathematics and English skills
- has up to date Safeguarding knowledge
- is passionate about supporting all children within an inclusive classroom environment.
