*Monday to Thursday: 7.55am to 8.40am - Breakfast Club (3 hours per week)
Monday to Friday: 8.40am to 12pm - Teaching Assistant (16.67 hours per week)
Friday: 12pm to 12.30pm - Lunchtime Supervision (0.5 hours per week) Term time only
Your role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable person to join our fantastic school and staff team. This is a unique post offering the opportunity to be involved in different aspects of the life of our school and to support the holistic development of our fantastic pupils. The role will involve supporting the learning and development of pupils within our Key Stage 1 class on a whole class, group work and 1-to-1 basis; running our school breakfast club four mornings per week; and providing half an hour of lunchtime and play support on a Friday.
You will:
- be committed to helping children to shine and achieve their potential
- have a positive attitude and be reliable
- have great communication skills
- have the ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents on a daily basis
- show good initiative and creativity
- have good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent)
- be calm, patient and flexible.
Experience of working within a primary school, first aid and basic hygiene would be desirable, but the role is also suitable for someone looking to begin a career in education and training and support will be provided.
