We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council`s Housing Investment Team as a Leasehold and Service Charge Officer. 

The role: 

You will be the first point of contact for leaseholders, managing leasehold services income, property management, and addressing complex queries regarding annual service charges and major works. You will play a key role in ensuring the council maximises income through effective management of approximately 115 leasehold properties, with opportunities to manage additional properties as the portfolio grows. 

What you will need: 

• Previous experience in leasehold or property management is essential. 
• Strong understanding of service charge processes, lease agreements, and property management practices. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complex queries and provide clear advice. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in dispute resolution. 
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
