Job Purpose:

The Global Senior Manager – Professional Services will Manage TOS implementation in the regional level and lead regional professional team to delivery DPWorld owned Zodiac Solutions such as TOS+, GC+, IoT+ and AVA+ as per terminal BU requirements within schedule and budget allocated.

The job holder is to effectively manage the entire project lifecycle of Zodiac TOS, ensuring successful delivery by planning, organizing, and driving teams to achieve customer business outcomes. This includes managing project goals, risks, budget and deadlines, while proactively meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

This role will report to Global Director – Professional Services who overseas global rollout of the suite of DPW global terminal operations solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversees and manages all Zodiac related projects happening in the Europe region. Zodiac product scopes covers terminal operating system, Auto Gate System, General Cargo, Rail/Crane OCR, and IoT platform. 
  • Manage regional professional Services team of Zodiac in delivering Zodiac solution in the region on time, within scope and budget.
  • Execute project implementation activities such as Infrastructure setup with local I.T. UAT, key user training, conference room pilot, parallel run, go-live and post go-live support.
  • Work closely with the product team and user group in defining functional requirement of TOS required for the responsible region such as Rail operation, EDI, General Cargo, system interface requirement. Conduct gap analysis with understanding of Zodiac product features and current process of the terminal with the help of business analyst. Suggest future process flow with customization scope suggested on the Zodiac product. All those details will be written in the O&A reports for management approval.
  • Work closely with regional head of operation and IT to iron issues raised during the implementation and communicate project status with senior manager at head office.
  • Feedback the latest trend of terminal operations and IT technology such as AI, machine learning and contribute to the product roadmap by presenting expectation and requirement from the region.
  • Manage regional account as regional representative of Zodiac for all Zodiac related issues in the support and system enhancement and upgrade of the system with the help of Zodiac product team.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience working in the container terminal business domain as yard/vessel planner, TOS implementation team lead or project manager. 
  • Candidate who has hands on experience in both container terminal operation and TOS implementation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple and concurrent projects/customers.
  • Experience managing TOS implementation projects consisting of 3 or more people.
  • Experience working with distributed delivery teams, consisting of on and offshore resources.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively conveying key messages to executive-level individuals.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as needed mainly in Europe but other regions when there is needs.
