Job Description: The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program Student Worker will work for the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program. They will be tasked with observing 5-6 SI sessions per week. Each session is 90 minutes, and they focus on academic support for students in specific courses. These sessions range in start times from 3pm-9pm. These sessions range from multiple subject areas, and are located mainly in Draper, Cashion, BSB, Foster, Sid Rich and a few other buildings on campus.
The SI Program Student Worker will be observing the session looking for a list of best practices and expectations. They will observe the SI leader hosting the session, and the students attending the session from start to finish. The SI Program Student Worker will quietly observe each session, fill out a detailed observation report using pre-selected questions, provide feedback to the SI leader on the report, and connect wit the SI Program Supervisor and Academic Program Specialist on weekly basis.
The role is only for observations. The student worker will no need to host sessions, attend SI lectures, or host office hours.
Training, constant support, and communication will be provided to the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program Student Worker. Preference is given to anyone who has worked with the SI Program or as an academic tutor.

- Provide general office assistance and support
- Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information

- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
