Sexual Violence Wellbeing Practitioner

- £23,500 per annum
- 35 hours per week
- Fixed term contract for 12 months
- Office based / Some travel required

Your role and responsibilities
You’ll be working with individuals of all ages and all genders who have been affected by sexual violence, carrying out assessments, providing practical support, and holding a case load delivering advice and guidance including:
- emotional support and advocacy
- assessment and self-help strategies
- stabilisation and self-esteem programme delivery one to one and group
- practical techniques to manage the impact of abuse
- coordinating with other agencies.
You will need:
- some support or counselling / therapeutic training and relevant experience (to at least diploma level)
- a good understanding of therapeutic intervention with CSA survivors and the willingness to learn
- a good understanding of the impact of trauma / trauma informed care and demonstrable experience and commitment to personal development / CPD.
